Technical analysis

While writing a technical analysis it is very important to understand who your audience is: the developer.  Having a long record as a developer means knowing better than any other what is needed, not only to communicate what is to be developed but to do so timely so that the development team not only can implement but also estimate the user stories correctly.  On the receiving end, the technical analyst has to be able to interpret the business analysis and understand the existing technical infrastructure so as to apply a correct change management.
